"Andheri" is a short film set in Mumbai.

The story is based on true events and takes place in the span of a single day. The film is in Hindi with English subtitles.

At its heart, this is the story of a young woman, Anita, who, trapped by her circumstance, dreams of a freer life. While Anita wants nothing more than to escape the drudgery of her life as a live-in maid, she fears the harsh world of Mumbai with its crowds, anonymity, and chaos. It is not an easy world to brave when you're a woman with no money, no prospects and from the wrong class of society.

The film is a gritty, realistic depiction of the world in which Anita lives: The city of Mumbai, home to millions of stories of hope and despair.
